This quad set emulates the original HI-1 quads, but made from superior Pro Glass for the serious surfer.

Good Speed & Drive
These fins give a strong push / drive, especially in boards with more width. The larger base (and quad layout) helps generate speed, which means they can connect sections and give propulsion through flatter parts of the wave.
Power
Because of their material and template, Big Boy quads generate power for drive.
Maneuverability
They have enough outline and curvature (rake, sweep) in the rear fins to allow solid rail hold, but also enable turning and responsive feel. They offer powerful turns and good traction.
Suitability for Wide / Hybrid / Mid‑Length Boards
Because many of these boards have extra width (especially in the tail), these fins help harness that width without letting the board feel too loose or skatey. For boards that have more surface area and might otherwise feel sluggish in turns, Big Boy quads help “balance things out.”
