Frequently Asked Questions
Are Eveley fins compatible with Futures® boxes?
Yes. Eveley Futures™ compatible fins are designed to fit standard Futures® single-tab fin boxes. They install using the same screw system and provide a secure, performance fit.

What is the difference between Futures® and FCS?
Futures™ and FCS use different fin connection systems.
Futures™ fins use a single solid base tab that slides into the fin box and is secured with one screw at the front.
FCS systems use either:
Dual-tab (older two-tab design), or
Tool-less clip-in systems (FCS II)
The two systems are not interchangeable. Always match your fins to your board’s installed fin boxes.
Are these single-tab fins?
Yes. All fins in this collection use a single tab base, designed specifically for Futures™ fin boxes.
If your board has a single-slot fin box with a screw at the front, these fins are compatible.
If your board has two separate side slots, you will need FCS-compatible fins instead.
What size Futures compatible fins do I need?
Fin size depends on your weight, board type, and wave conditions.
General thruster size guide:
Under 55kg — Extra Small (~4.3")
55–65kg — Small (~4.4"–4.5")
65–75kg — Medium (~4.6"–4.75")
75–90kg — Large (~4.8"–5.0")
90kg+ — Extra Large (5.0"+)
For quads, the rear fins are typically smaller than the front fins.
If you’re unsure, a medium template suits most surfers between 65–75kg in everyday conditions.
